Owner confirmed MSI as a carried brand. This card is limited to MSI Everlife Cyrus Rigid Core and should not be used for Cyrus 2.0, Wayne Parc, or another MSI collection without its current documents.
Core and construction
- The current Cyrus collection page lists 5 mm total thickness, a 1 mm IXPE backing, a 12 mil wear layer, and a 7 in by 48 in plank format.
- MSI identifies Cyrus as rigid core with a float click installation. That differs from a fully adhered dryback installation and from other Everlife collections with different dimensions or wear layers.
Site specific installation requirements
- The linked MSI rigid core guide requires a flat, dry, clean substrate. It gives a flatness requirement of 1/8 in per 6 ft.
- The guide requires moisture testing for concrete. It identifies ASTM F2170 as the preferred test and calls for moisture mitigation when the in situ result is above 90 percent relative humidity.
- The guide calls for a minimum 1/4 in expansion gap and says trim, molding, and transitions must not prevent the floor from floating.

- Is the selected material current Cyrus Rigid Core rather than Cyrus 2.0 or another MSI line?
